Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the administration and maintenance of the client’s fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience in fleet management, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to vehicle tracking, maintenance, and cost management. This role is essential to ensure the client’s vehicles remain in top condition, comply with all legal requirements, and are assigned to employees efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in registering and titling new company vehicles, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain records of all registrations, titles, and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the assignment of vehicles to employees based on departmental needs and availability.
  • Track vehicle usage and ensure accurate documentation of vehicle assignments.
  • Schedule regular maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs to keep vehicles in safe and optimal working condition.
  • Track and document maintenance history for each vehicle to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Coordinate the return of vehicles when employees leave the company or change roles.
  • Ensure all vehicles are accounted for and reassigned as needed, maintaining fleet availability.
  • Track all expenses related to each vehicle, including fuel, maintenance, and repair costs.
  • Monitor and report on fleet expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize fleet expenditures.
  • Be open to accepting new challenges and tasks as they arise
Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Fleet Coordinator or in a similar role, managing or supporting fleet operations.
  • Experience with scheduling appointments for vehicle maintenance, repairs, or related fleet needs.
  • Ability to handle multiple vehicles, records, and scheduling tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience with fleet management software or other relevant tools.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledgeable with vehicle maintenance, legal requirements for titling and registration, and cost management practices.
