OASIS Quality Assurance Chart Reviewer(PHRN)
Description

The main responsibility of an OASIS Quality Assurance Chart Reviewer is to ensure accuracy in OASIS and remain compliant. The reviewer will review the relevant documentation on each chart, including referrals, history and physical summaries, and visit notes from various disciplines. After the reviewer has a good understanding of the patient's history, the reviewer then looks at the answers the clinician who gathered the OASIS provided. The reviewer compares the documentation to the OASIS and then highlights omissions or areas where the documentation does not support the OASIS response.

Responsibilities
  • Review OASIS assessments and document recommended changes in the McBee Associates OASIS database tool
  • Review ICD-10 coding and sequencing from documentation in the patient chart
  • Enter results from review in appropriate fields of the database
  • Provide explanation for change and reimbursement impact recommended

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s / College Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience for OASIS Review
  • Registered Nurse
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Demonstrable track record of successful client delivery or customer success management.
  • Experience working across a variety of enterprise customers
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships, while working to mitigate churn and drive engagement and renewals
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals
  • Excellent customer/client management & facing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Approachable, professional, and discrete, and personable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
